Who we are

iTechnician is a network supplying on-demand repair services for Apple devices.

The iTechnician network was established in 2014 by Al Lijee, who is a technology entrepreneur. He set up the network after experiencing slow response times and poor quality of service when dealing with traditional suppliers of tech repairs, and decided there had to be a better (and faster) way. He decided to try a different approach to enable people to link up with locally-based and highly-skilled Apple device repair experts, and so launched iTechnician. Initially Manchester-based, the network now covers the whole of the UK.

Operating model

iTechnician takes advantage of online technology to provide a platform for Apple device technicians. All network members are established and experienced small to medium-sized independent businesses, with bases within the UK. When a customer asks for a quote, our digital platform notifies suitable local iTechs (based on their skill-set, availability and proximity), who are given the option to take on the work. Our online processes enable us to keep a track on iTech service levels, and to ensure they are meeting customer satisfaction levels, in real time.

We believe we have a unique operating model, and it enables us to achieve a rapid speed of response, reliable quality of service, ease of access for customers, and the best possible value for money:

  • We minimise operating costs by use of online technology.
  • Our iTechs are all independent operators, which means they can provide maximum flexibility on service and pricing.

The combination of minimal overheads and maximum flexibility means a win-win situation. The customer gets real savings and great service, the iTechs get repeat custom and the chance to grow their businesses.
