Apple Watch (Series 4)

About

The fourth generation of Apple Watch – Apple Watch Series 4 - was announced at the Apple Special Event in September 2018. It was launched as the replacement for Apple Watch Series 3, and at the same time, production of Apple Watch Series 1 finally ceased. As usual, this Watch was available in two sizes, and the displays were actually larger than those on the previous series, being 40 and 44 mm as opposed to 38 and 42 mm. In spite of the larger display, the Apple Watch Series 4 fitted more closely to the wrist, as it had a slimmer chassis and bezel, and the corners were more rounded. The functionality of the Series 4 Watch was almost doubled compared to the Series 3, by the incorporation of the new S4 dual-core processor, and it boasted 16 GB of storage.

The fitness tracking and health monitoring functions of the Apple Watch Series 4 were considerably enhanced by the addition of a new heart sensor. This ECG sensor was the first in any consumable device to gain US Food and Drug Administration approval, as well as support from the American Heart Association. The Series 4 Watch could even detect if the wearer had fallen down, and could be set up to dial an emergency number, unless the wearer cancelled the call – a positive boon for extreme sports fans and people who may be at higher risk of falls such as the infirm or elderly. A versatile and useful device for all ages and levels of fitness.

Repairs

Slimmer, with a larger screen than any previous Apple Watch, your Apple Watch Series 4 will look great on your wrist, whatever you are doing. The upgraded performance and the enhanced health monitoring functions also make your Watch a great safety device for times when you may be at risk of over-exertion, or even in personal danger. However, if you manage to crack the screen or damage the Watch in some way, it won’t be able to help you in an emergency, so it’s best to get any problems sorted out as soon as they occur. The best way to get a rapid and professional on-demand Apple Watch Series 4 repair is to call in a technician.
